| Edmund Taylor Royal Ark Mariner Lodge held its annual Commanders Dinner at the Carousel Hotel Blackpool on Saturday 2nd June. |
| 70 members and guests attended to support Worshipful Commander Robert Arrand and his wife Brenda and dined in fine style with music to Brothers of Swing. |
| This black tie event replaced the usual Ladies evening when some years ago the Lodge was looking to inject new life into its social event to honour the wives and partners of the members. |
| As one member commented, there are times when a little lateral thinking is required to breath new life into an event to stop it becoming stale, and this event proves that point exactly. |
Not many RAM Lodges still hold a dinner for their ladies but this event certainly proves that it is still popular with the members and their ladies as the photos show everyone certainly had an enjoyable evening out. |
